Kitchen Herbalist Apprenticeship Registration is Now Open!

Hello Friends,

Happy Fall! I have exciting news- I’m super pleased to announce my upcoming Kitchen Herbalist Apprenticeship series.
It’s a comprehensive 4 part intro to herbal medicine making that opens for registration today!

Calendula & Rec Clover

Want to know if this series is for you?

-Are you interested in plants &/or herbs?
-Do you like cooking, baking, fermenting or basically crafting anything in the kitchen?
-Would you like to learn how to work with plants & plant medicine?

…Or perhaps you’d like to learn to prepare herbs thoughtfully so you may have confidence that they might actually do what you would like them to?
…Or perhaps you have started studying herbalism but would like a hands-on component & would enjoy connecting with others in the community?

If the answer is yes to at least 3 of those, then I would say, yes, yes it is.

Here’s what the 4 Part* Kitchen Herbalist Apprenticeship Includes:

-Learning the foundational principles of herbal medicine making. When completed, you will have confidence to begin crafting your own herbal “farmacy” for yourselves & your family. I break this down into 4 sessions dedicated to 4 different aspects of Herbal Medicine:
Herbal Compresses, Poultices, Infusions, & Decoctions
Tinctures & Elixirs
Syrups, Infused Honeys & Herbal Vinegars
Infused oils, Salves & Healing Balms

-All handouts & materials such as herbs, alcohol, apothecary bottles, etc.
-One of each of all of the herbal preparations we crafted to take home with you & share with your loved ones (3-4 each class)
-Hands on instruction from Community Herbalist, herb gardener & medicine maker, Dionne Jennings

*I created the series to be a beginners comprehensive, but if you would just like to test the waters to see if it’s for you, you are welcome to register for one or two individually. Keep in mind that I’m keeping the class size small & intimate for the time being, so if this sings to you, please register asap!

Find details of each class module here–registration via PayPal is at the bottom of the page!

All the best to you moving into the winter season, and see you in class!

Green Blessings,

Dionne, your YEG Community Herbalist
